P&C News
Our Mission Statement
We work alongside the school to support improved outcomes
for all students. We fundraise throughout the year to ensure our
students, teachers and school have access to the most up to date
resources and equipment. We support our local community and
families and uphold the positive image of Werris Creek Public School.
Our next P&C General Meeting will be held on Monday 3rd June at 6pm at the Werris Creek Sports Club. All welcome to attend.
The Snack Shack will reopen on Friday 17th May to serve our students delicious treats and lunch.
We are open every Friday to serve you with lots of delicious treats and are now taking over the counter sales selling Popcorn, Chips and Icy Monys. Please ensure that your child has money to order as there will be no accounts. If you wish to place a lunch order, please ensure that your child's name and class is clearly labelled on the bag and close to correct money is provided. Due to limited staff on Fridays and being extremely busy before school commences, we are unable to fill in lunch orders prior to school. Please place your money in a lunch bag or envelope, with details on the front and have your child put in the box located next to the canteen screen door.
Do you have a few hours on Friday free? We need you! Can be flexible on other days to accommodate. Please message here or call Barb at the office Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
The P&C will be holding a Mother’s Day Stall on Thursday 9th May 2024 for your child to purchase gifts for Mother’s Day. All gifts are priced at $5 each. We ask that all orders with money be returned to the office no later than tomorrow, Wednesday 8th May 2024. To cater for all students, we recommend only one Mother’s/Primary Caregiver’s gift per child and one Grandmother’s gift per family. Once everyone has had the opportunity to purchase a gift and we have left over then there will be an opportunity for the purchase of more than one gift. Due to human error, there was a small omission of tickets from our Christmas Raffle. Those impacted will be contacted. We apologise to those affected.
