In recognition of the wonderful sentence she wrote about the Nature Critter she made. Olivia’s sentence began with an uppercase letter and ended with a full stop. Fantastic, Olivia!

In recognition of your ability to say a word out loud, listen for the sounds and write them down during Writing lessons. Your sentence about a pet goldfish was amazing! Well done Olivia.

Axel 

In recognition of your kind and caring manner within the classroom. You welcomed a new FL student to the class and shared your friendly words and gestures to support them. Great job Axel!

Krithik 

In recognition of using a range of Tricky Word Strategies to help him decode unknown words. Krithik uses the pictures and he is beginning to sound out whole words when he is reading. Great work Krithik! 

Henry 

In recognition of his ability to remember and demonstrate what a good writer does. Henry always rereads his sentence and checks for an upper case letter at the beginning, finger spaces between his words, and checks for a full stop at the end. 

Joy 

In recognition of the persistence and resilience you demonstrate when learning. You learn from your mistakes and use them to improve your reading and writing. Joy, you are an absolute star!

Aadhya 

In recognition of the fabulous effort you have been putting into your writing. Your recounts, letters and your Gratitude Journal are written beautifully. You should be so proud of the way you learn.

In recognition of greatly increasing his ability to work without distractions and listening attentively during whole class discussions. Super start to the term Jasper, keep it up!

In recognition of his descriptive writing about Whirly Wings.  I was very impressed with his writing as he included a sizzling start, along with a number of adjectives and verbs and he also described how he felt completing this activity. Terrific, Maxx!

Daisy 

In recognition of Daisy’s work during our Data Unit in mathematics.  Daisy created a dot plot and remembered to include a title, label the ‘x’ axis and she could also answer questions accurately about the graph.  Fantastic work, Daisy!

In recognition of on the focus and effort you displayed in crafting your descriptive writing piece, "The Last Post", this week. It was wonderful that you used your five senses when you wrote this piece. Well done Byron!

In recognition of your consistent engagement in class discussions, willingness to share your thoughts and eagerness to participate by raising your hand to answer questions. The class appreciates your enthusiasm and contributions.

In recognition of her well-written and thoughtful predictions she noted in her Readers Notebook on the class novel and the picture story books, we have read. Marissa remembered to use evidence to support her prediction and explained her thinking clearly. Well done!
