Lots of Socks Fundraiser for World Down Syndrome Day
Dear CNPS community,
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is our Lots of Socks Fundraiser day.
Tomorrow we are inviting kids to wear socks as colourful as they can be or even mix and match socks and bring in a gold coin donation. We encourage you to have them as bright, colourful, short or long as you want. You can add even more flair and wear bright and colourful clothes to match with your socks! Our SRC students will also have a limited number of socks available for purchase at the front of the foyer during break times for a gold coin donation.
We can’t wait to see all the wonderful different socks!

People with Down syndrome want the same things as everyone else in the community – the best start in life, a good education, meaningful employment, somewhere to live and active participation in the life of the community around them.

Save The Date - Mothers / Special Persons Day Lunch- 10th May
We know it takes a village - and we think we have one of the very best!
Organised by a small group of CNPS parents, please join us on Friday May 10 at Teller Brunswick East (tellerbrunswickeast.com.au) for a lunch to celebrate the Mums and other special people in our CNPS community.
Tickets are $65 which includes a two-course lunch and glass of prosecco / soft drink on arrival, as well as a small contribution to the school’s fundraising efforts. Other drinks will be at bar prices. At this stage there is a maximum capacity of 50, so get in quick! Book your spot here:

Curriculum Contribution Reminder
A big thank you to those families who have made a curriculum contribution, and other much-needed contributions, to our school this year.
Please find below, details of the requested 2024 financial contributions for your child/ren. There is a separate attachment for each year level. Every year the school purchases stationery items, classroom supplies and eLearning subscriptions on behalf of all students, this year totalling approximately $28,500.
Without parent contributions, the school is out of pocket for these significant expenses.
We greatly appreciate your contribution to these, and if you are able, towards other initiatives as detailed attached.
Payment can be made through Course Confirmations on the Compass portal, or by EFTPOS or cash over the phone or counter.
