Our Father in Heaven,
Look over and bless St. Augustine’s while we are working and playing.
Help us to respect and care for each other as you taught us to.
Give us the opportunity to do our best for you each day.
We look forward to being able to share our lives with our friends and families.
Keep us safe and give us the courage to be
people who want to know you more.
Amen.
My little Lord Jesus,
I love You and thank You for this Advent season.
Please help me to understand all that You have done for me.
Your loving mother held You in her heart and brought You into this world.
Help me to do the same.
My loving Jesus,
I choose You, this Advent, as my King and my God.
Draw me close to You and help me to see my sins so that I can change the things that You want me to change.
Mother Mary,
pray for me this Advent so that I may do all that God wants me to do.
You said “Yes” to all that God asked of you.
Please pray for me that I may do the same.
Come, Lord Jesus,
Come, Lord Jesus,
Come, Lord Jesus, come!
I love You, Jesus.
Amen.
On Saturday, 23rd November, the Year 6 students celebrated their Confirmation in a beautiful ceremony led by Bishop Martin Ashe and Fr. Werner. Surrounded by their families and the school community, the students embraced this special milestone in their faith journey.
We wish these young people all the best as they prepare to transition from primary school, carrying the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit with them.
May they continue to grow in wisdom, courage, and love in all they do.
Thank you to all the parents who spent time and money getting their child ready for their special day. The students all looked wonderful and so grown up.
Special thanks to the teacher who helped prepare the students for this sacrament:
Miss Marissa, Miss Jones and Miss Danni.
Thank you also to all the staff who attended the celebration to witness these students get confimed and who also helped out.
Many thanks,
Michele Witchell - REL
