CARNEGIE'S CRICKET STAR

Arav from Year 6 recently represented Victoria in the State School Victoria (SSV) Cricket Team.

Victoria shared the National Championship  with QLD and SA. All three teams won 5 out of 6 their games, however Victoria came away with a higher run rate so will host the Championships next year.

Arav was given the role of opening bowler in all matches and he consecutively controlled the runs and took some early wickets restricting the opponents from scoring runs, which was greatly appreciated by his team!

Arav was also lucky enough to meet Australian cricket legend, Shane Watson!
