Exciting Highlights as We Approach the End of the School Year!
As we near the end of our school year, the past few weeks have been truly amazing!
Last Wednesday was special, as our Grade 1 and 2 students displayed all their efforts in a CREATIVITY EXPO.
Throughout Term 4, our students have been encouraged to explore their curiosity about robotics through fun and engaging activities. Our Grade 1 and 2 students participated in a hands-on project where they collaboratively designed and built their robots using various craft materials.
We are incredibly proud of our students' enthusiasm, inventive skills, and persistence during this exciting learning experience. In addition to robotics, students also delved into the world of computer programming through simple coding activities, such as ScratchJr.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone in the Beaufort School Community who supported our extraordinarily talented students by attending the event to celebrate our students' creativity!
Ballarat Big Day Out
The warmer weather in Week 9 was a delightful treat, especially for our Prep, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students who enjoyed the Ballarat Big Day Out excursion. The following photographs capture a wonderful collage of the joy and excitement this adventure brought to our students. We were thrilled to visit Ballarat's brand-new CPAC (Creative Play Art Centre). Delighted shrieks filled the air, reflecting fascination and happiness. We all agreed it was a great way to learn about Science in such a fun and dynamic way. The day also included lunch and fun times at the inclusive playground at Victoria Park, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
End of Year Testing
We have had some jam-packed weeks with end-of-year assessments and activities and students have been working very hard to show us everything they have learnt! Both classes have tried their best with all that we have thrown at them and have shown great school values throughout the process.
Concert Practice
Our students have spun, twirled and sang our hearts out leading up to the school concert. Our Grade 1 and Grade 2 students CANNOT wait to show you just how much they love to sing and dance at Wednesday's Concert! We are looking forward to seeing the Beaufort School Community at this most exciting event.
From the Grade 1/2 Team, we hope Your News is Good News! We Wish you all A Wonderful Christmas and cannot wait to see you all in the New Year!
