PARENT PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS 2025

We’ve been continually working on reducing the amount of waste at Ocean Grove Primary School.  This year we pooled the stationery supplies in the school and we’ve been able to reduce the amount and cost of bulk supplies for classrooms which is reflected in the reduction of voluntary stationery supplies for 2025.  We’ve also donated supplies we won’t use to Northern Bay College to assist in restocking their classrooms after their Hendy St campus fire. 

Feedback from parents and staff has been very positive about the change we made to have student bulk stationery supplies sent straight to the classroom.  Next year we’re streamlining the process in how contributions show in Sentral.  We’ve combined some curriculum contributions into one charge, you can still choose if you pay them all, part pay, pay in instalments or not pay at all.  Your contributions mean we don’t have to take funds from other programs to support the cost of stationery and other curriculum related items.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the school in 2024 with your voluntary contributions and fundraising. Your contributions have provided bulk classroom and specialist area supplies, Sentral and See Saw subscriptions and new furniture in the Foundation classrooms just to name a few.  With the fundraising we have been able to enhance the SLC garden area, build the library garden area and we’ll have the AV system in the gym installed by the end of the year.

We will be removing 2024 voluntary contributions from Sentral at the end of the year and will place the new 2025 voluntary contributions on early in Term 1.  If you were wanting to make any further contributions for this year please do so before the end of the year.
