Inquiry

Big Idea: ‘How might relationships and collaboration shape wellbeing?’

Global Goal: Good Health and Wellbeing

In our upcoming Inquiry lessons, we will explore the significant impact of relationships and collaboration on wellbeing through five key clusters. Firstly, we'll discuss how various influences shape behaviours linked to wellbeing. Then, we'll delve into nurturing meaningful relationships and the power of collaboration in enhancing satisfaction and belonging. We'll also focus on the effectiveness of reflective engagement and repetitive tasks, both independently and collaboratively. Lastly, we'll emphasise the importance of transferability, enabling your child to apply learned skills across various contexts. These discussions aim to enrich their academic journey while equipping them with essential life skills.

To support your child at home, you may find the following tasks helpful:

  • Family Cooking Night: Encourage your child to participate in a family cooking night where everyone collaborates to prepare a meal together.
  • DIY Storytelling and Puppet Show: Have your child create their own puppet characters and develop a storyline for a puppet show. This collaborative activity allows your child to build relationships with family members through creative expression and teamwork.
  • Family Yoga or Exercise Session: Organise a family yoga or exercise session where everyone participates in simple stretches, yoga poses, or aerobic exercises together.
