In the Spotlight

Hey everyone,

My name’s Jake (Mr Roberts to the kids). I’m one of the Foundation teachers at OGPS and absolutely love working with the most amazing students, staff and parents. Here’s a few things you might not know about me. 

June is my birth month.

Ava, Mila and Isla are my daughters.

Kicking the footy was one of my favourite things to do growing up.

Every cool weekend, we love to light our outside fire.

Riding a horse is hopefully something I’ll be able to do soon!

Once I performed a singing and dance solo in a high school musical. 

Beautiful Mel in the office is my wife.

Eating pizza and pasta is a real passion.

Recently we took ownership over an awesome little pony, named Monty!

This is my twelfth year here at OGPS.

Singing and playing the guitar is something I love doing.

Hi there, I’m Jade. 

You may have seen my face up in the office with Jenny and Mel or maybe in the classrooms giving a helping hand.

I grew up around Ocean Grove and am lucky enough to still live here with my family. This is my first year at OGPS and I’m very excited to get to know everyone’s faces. 

A few things you might not know about me: 

• I have two boys that go to OGPS, Jack (Grade 2) and Tommy (Prep) 
• We love to go on warm holidays in our caravan 
• If you can’t find me around school there is a good chance I’ll be down at the beach
• I have a HUGE sweet tooth
• I worked at a special needs school for 5 years as an educational support
• I’ve been converted into a mad Bombers supporter by my husband and kids

I cant wait to get to know all the staff, students and parents a little better.
