This week, the students are learning about calendars and how to use them effectively. 

VOCABULARY

Calendars: A chart that shows the days, weeks and months of the year. 

Dates: A day of the month or year shown by a number. 

Holidays: A day of festivity or recreation when no work is done.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Use a calendar or school diary to circle the dates of this year which have importance to  your family e.g. birthdays or holidays.
