Thank you to all of the 5/6 students who participated in the Colour Run on Monday! As a cohort,  you stepped up and lead by example! You should be proud of how you demonstrated all of the school values, we definitely are ☺️

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING?

Last week in maths, the students in 5/6 leant about angles. Students were taught how to use a protractor and then used these their new found skills to measure the angles of different shapes within an animal drawing. Students really enjoyed this task and were able to demonstrate their creativity.

There are lots of interactive manipulatives that can help students grasp abstract concepts through modeling and lots of tools to assist students understand maths concepts. There's also simple and engaging tasks at the bottom of each activity 🙂
