'Democracy, Community and Me' Incursion
In Discovery this term we have been learning about the three Levels of Government, in particular the role of Local Government. To help us with this learning, we had Danny from Linked Incursions come out to teach us about how a local council election works. All students were able to vote in a council election, learnt about preferential voting and then participated in a council meeting where they voted to pass a motion.
