The last few weeks in Maths, the Grade 2s have been exploring different ways to measure length. They have used informal units, such as unifix, MAB, popsicle sticks and counters.
They have extended their vocabulary when talking about length, using words such as estimate, actual, shorter, longer, length, width, height and depth.
It has been fun to complete some hands on activities!
