Swimming

We are pleased to announce that our Swimming Program for Prep to Year 4 will be held in Term 1 at Paul Sadler Swimland - Paratea Drive Rowville

Swimming will commence on Monday 19th February to Friday 1st March

Prep students will not swim on Wednesdays as they are not at school in week 4 and week 5.

• All information for our Swimming Program was sent out via Operoo this week.
• Please make sure you read all information carefully and accept, so your children attend swimming.

Parent Helpers

• All volunteers must have a current Working With Children Check, be registered with
• St Justin’s school and have completed the Volunteer application process. All volunteers paperwork MUST be up to date and will be checked for currency by staff.
• Thanks to all those volunteers who have added their name to the Parent Helper Roster - please keep an eye on the roster for any changes.
• All volunteers must sign in at the front office and receive their parent helper lanyard and travel on the bus to and from swimming.

PLEASE NOTE:

• There is a viewing room at the Swimland and parents who are not chosen as Parent Helpers are welcome to come and watch their child/ren.
• All parents MUST stay in the viewing room during the swim session and are not permitted in the change rooms
• Only parents with the allocated Parent Helper lanyard, who are on the Swimming roster are allowed in the change rooms to assist the students.
• These rules are in place because we are bound by the Child Safe Standards Policy that we are mandated to follow from Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) and Federal and Statement Ministerial Orders.

To volunteer as a Parent Helper in your child's class, please select the appropriate volunteer form to complete, remembering you can only choose one session to volunteer and one session to put yourself on standby.

Please note, payment for the Swimming program has already been covered in school levies, so you do not have to make a separate payment for this.
