Privacy Reminder

Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ Privacy Policy and the Schools’ Privacy Collection Notice.

The Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy, describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.

We use Microsoft 365 safely at the school. We have assessed the value and security of this software with guidance from the Department of Education and Training. Our staff are aware of how to use the software appropriately and how to help your child use it safely.

All students in Year 3 to Year 6 have access to this system and use it throughout the year.

What Microsoft 365 Education is used for:

We will use the Microsoft 365 Education suite of tools to help us create a hybrid learning environment which enables teachers and students to collaborate in both synchronous and asynchronous settings.

The expected benefits include:

* a centralised platform for teaching and learning activities

* access to real-time collaboration tools for a range of classroom activities

* remote access via any device

* a controlled environment for students to develop digital citizenship skills

* a storage space for learning and teaching documents
