Year 8 Theatre Production

Theatre Production - Costume 

This semester, Year 8 Theatre Production students have been exploring production areas that are incorporated into a performance, including set, sound, make-up, lighting, costume and more. Students have been investigating how these production areas can communicate or enhance meaning in a performance. They have also been studying how they can be used to evoke a particular emotion or mood for an audience. 

In a recent lesson, students enjoyed designing and making newspaper-themed costumes based on characters from the plays Masquerade and Lady Windermere’s Fan. Despite the short time, each group worked enthusiastically, and the final results were fantastic!
