Regional Swimming Carnival

S.Bejain - PSSA Sport Co-Ordinator

On Tuesday, 12th February, Miss Bejain travelled to the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre with 16 students from Years 3-6 for the Sydney South West Regional Swimming Carnival.

All students put in their best effort during each race and event. It was a beautiful sunny day and all students enjoyed cooling down in the refreshing water as they competed against schools and zones across our region. It was fantastic to see all 16 students  encouraging one another and showing immense school pride. A duck wanted to join in the fun and splashed down in the swimming pool. Luckily the duck only wanted a quick dip and flew away so the next race could start.

Congratulation to Vi An Duong who placed first in the 10 yrs 50m Freestyle, Junior Girls 50m Breaststroke, and Junior Girls 50m Backstroke. Vi An will compete on behalf of the Sydney South West Region at the NSW State Championships. Good luck Vi An!
