Year 7 Camp - Camp Weekaway

Year 7 camp is a great opportunity for students to develop resilience, team work, responsibility and respect in a fun outdoor environment.

This three day camp will be divided into two groups.

  • Group 1: Monday 4 - Wednesday 6 March - Students in Chisholm, Delany and Patrick Houses.
  • Group 2: Wednesday 6 - Friday 8 March - Students in Brigid, Moore and Nicholls Houses.

Buses will be departing from the Kildare Campus. Families are asked to have their child at the Campus by 8.00am on the morning of departure. We ask that families drop their child off to allow other families to do the same. Parking is at a premium at Kildare, so please just use the drop off zones as simply drop off only. Buses will also return to the Kildare Campus at the conclusion of each camp.

Further information regarding the Year 7 camp is available on Compass.

Brigidine House Swimming Carnival (Rescheduled - Friday 23 February)

Our Senior Swimming Carnival (Brigidine Campus students in Year 9-12) will be held at the Echuca War Memorial and Aquatic Centre on Friday 23 February.

Students will attend their period 1 class as normal and then travel by bus to the pool at the beginning of period 2.

We expect all students to attend and participate in this school event in support of their House and school community. Community events such as these are a terrific way to develop community spirit, social cohesion skills, resiliency and a feeling of belonging to our school.

Parents will be able to attend. There will be allocated seating for the day (limited capacity).

We ask that parents refrain from supplying take away lunch so that we can support our BBQ which will be raising money for Caritas. The coffee van will also be available.

Students will not be permitted to access the canteen at the pool.

Students are not permitted to leave the pool surrounds during the carnival and will return to school at the end of the event for a 3:15pm dismissal.

Sports uniform and hat must be worn. Students may change into House coloured top/shorts on arrival at the pool.

Please note that the Pool has advised that face paint, streamers, coloured hairspray or coloured zinc are not permitted.

If you have any questions regarding the House Swimming Carnival, please contact your child’s Learning Mentor.

Campaspe swimming

Students from Kildare have already had emails to alert them to next Tuesday’s swimming event. Permissions will go out Friday afternoon to be approved over the weekend.

Good luck to all students representing our school.
