As we begin 2024, I am pleased to welcome familiar and new members to Leonis. I'm Hannah Micallef and I am proud to be Leonis House Captain for 2024. I give a special welcome to our new Year 7 students as they begin their high school journey.
It has been an exciting start to 2024, with all of the new Year 7s ready to enter high school. I want to thank everybody who participated in the swimming carnival, especially everyone who participated in the novelty relay.
I further encourage everyone in Leonis to take part in school events and I hope our dedication can help our House achieve a higher place for athletics carnival!

Here in Leonis House, I’m very much confident that we have what it takes to secure a back-to-back House Championship.
I am Prithis Bhattacharyya and I am honoured to be a Leonis House Captain for 2024.
It will be wonderful for many of our House members to get involved with the upcoming events such as the Cross Country, Athletics Carnival and the Musical. So, be sure to sign up.
I extend an invitation to all members of the Leonis community to speak with me or Hannah if you have any queries or concerns - we are here for you!

Alternatively, there is a mailbox outside the Leonis meeting room. You can place ideas, feedback or solutions in it and Ms Fraraccio will collect them at the end of the week. You can also use this to recognise any positive shout outs you would like to acknowledge your peers for, perhaps someone helped you with something or you noticed that they always have a smile on their face.
