During the third week of this term the Year 7 students embarked on a three-day adventure at ADANAC Camp at Yarra Junction. This camp provided a fantastic opportunity for our newest students to forge friendships, familiarise themselves with their new teachers and engage in exciting experiences. Activities such as archery, canoeing, the flying fox, waterslides, jumping towers and indoor rock climbing filled their days with excitement. Despite a worrisome storm the night before, the weather turned out to be fantastic, with plenty of sunshine throughout the three days.

In addition to the new and exciting camp activities, students took part in an Ash Wednesday Liturgy led by Mr Eamonn Farrelly. They also enjoyed a trivia night and a visit to the local swimming pool.

I trust that the Year 7 students cherished their time at camp and I extend sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff members who attended, contributing to the students' memorable experiences. Thanks to Mr Eamonn Farrelly, Ms Havah Klajn, Mr Nathan Goicoa, Mrs Emily Blake, Ms Anna Nguyen, Ms Teagan Yates, Mr Joe Sirianni, Mr Aaron Bailey, Mr Paul O’Loughlin, Ms Gemma Reynolds, Ms Alice Liu, Ms Ruth Noronha, Ms Kris Tourogiannis and Ms Bridie Atkinson for their incredible efforts on camp. Special thanks to Mr Mark Alexander for seamlessly overseeing the camp at ADANAC. This camp isn’t a success without the work of our amazing teachers who give up their time generously each year.
