Good Shepherd Indoor Soccer players wanted!

We are currently seeking players for our U9s and U11s school indoor soccer teams that commence their season on Thurs 29th Feb.

Games are played on Thursday evenings at Kings Baptist Gymnasium.

Yr 4/5 GS Warriors

GS warriors had another strong performance in game 2 of the season with a 30-13 win over the Pedare Slammers.

It was good to see the team executing some of the new skills and tactics they have learned at training throughout the game.

All players defended well and passed the ball well when in possession to ensure they continued their good start to the season.

Yr 5/6 GS Raptors

The GS Raptors went down to the Pedare Lightning this week with the final score 24-33.  Due to the team being short this week, Yafet stayed behind after his game and helped out the Raptors and had an instant impact on the court and scored 2 baskets.  Overall, the Lightning simply used the ball more efficiently and didn’t turn the ball over as much.
