STAFFROOM

Please ensure that sharp knives are placed in the designated sharps drawer rather than the cutlery drawer. This precaution is necessary to safeguard children who may occasionally be in the staffroom, ensuring that potentially hazardous items are securely stored. Please use the key to lock them away.

STUDENT MEDICAL FORMS

Kindly remind any parents to ensure all required medical forms are updated either through diary messages or during your designated SSG meeting.  This includes any asthma, allergies, medication taken etc.

HAZARDS

A hazard is a source or a situation with the potential for harm in terms of human injury or ill-health, damage to property, damage to the environment, or a combination of these.

Please add as much detail as much as possible when reporting a hazard so that we can identify the problem and address it as soon as the team can. eduSafe Plus allows all department staff to report incidents and hazards themselves, or on behalf of other employees, contractors, visitors and volunteers.

PROTECTION FROM THE SUN

The school has submitted an application for Commonwealth Funding to enhance playground facilities throughout the school, which may include the installation of shade sails. Until we receive confirmation of the outcome, it is important to adhere to SunSmart guidelines when using playgrounds with limited shade, such as the Bird's Nest area in Playground 3. As per our JSA  SunSmart Policy we strongly encourage you to follow the guidelines in the policy to keep you and the students safe.
