Sports Update

Hockey Regionals 

On the 7th of August Epping Views took a Boys and Girls team to the Hockey 7’s Regional tournament held at Greensborough Hockey Club.

None of our players had played the game before so it was a big learning curve for the group. 

The boys had 2 games against very challenging opposition, only going down 2-0 in each game but putting in a massive team effort with many heroics. The girls had 3 games, 2 in quick succession, but kept their chances alive with a draw and then a win leading into their last game. Unfortunately, they lost to eventual State-bound winners Yarra Primary School.

Stand out players for the day were Declan 6JC, Vihaan 6JC, and Sethuli 6MK. Top stuff!

All the students made an excellent account of themselves and demonstrated a great display of the school values and expectations. Well done EVPS!
