Open Classrooms Invitation

We are incredibly proud of the learning that takes place each day in Years 5 and 6, and we would love to share this with parents and carers at our Open Classroom events this term. Years 5 and 6 parents and carers are warmly invited to visit their son’s classroom on the following dates:

We ask that parents wait in the Powell Pavilion and allow students and staff to move to class on the bell at 8:35 AM, before joining them at 8:45 AM.

Interschool Public Speaking Competition

Next Monday, we look forward to hosting several students from Santa Sabina College for the second running of our Interschool Public Speaking Competition. The SPC speakers were selected following their Term 2 speech focus in English. We look forward to hosting our peers from Santa, as well as Mr Michael Robson, former Deputy Headmaster, who will adjudicate the day in the Robson Auditorium. Please note, this is a student only event. 

STEM Day

Today, our Year 6 students spent the day at Santa Sabina College for a STEM Gala Day. Our students worked with the Years 5 and 6 students from Gioia House and immersed themselves in a range of technology, heard from guest speakers such as Ms Annabel Cowley (software engineer at Canva), and participated in practical activities through workshops that encourage creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and digital confidence. We look forward to sharing photos of this fantastic day in next week’s Especean.
