PBIS Blitz
NEW - Term 3 Week 5 & 6 PBIS Blitz
Week 5 was our final week focusing on being responsible.
Being responsible means owning your actions and making choices that help not only yourself but others around you as well. It’s about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
To wrap up our focus on responsibility, during assembly, we had some special guests from 1-2 CD and FD who shared great ways they continue to practise responsibility in their daily lives.
The students were very responsible and listened carefully to learn from these examples. The students were reminded, even though our focus on responsibility was coming to an end, the lessons we’ve learned will continue to guide us every day.
Keep up the great work, everyone!
Week 6
At Assembly this week, our new PBIS focus was announced. We will be focussing on being resilient.
"What does resilience mean?" - Resilience is like being a rubber band.
When things get tough or don’t go the way we want, resilience helps us stretch and bounce back, just like a rubber band.
It means we keep trying, even when things are hard or don’t go our way.
The students were shown some examples of how we can display resilience.
