ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Publishing Phase - Find your child’s draft writing piece that they revised and edited last week using the above picture prompt. Have your child read their writing to you or a sibling. Once they have finished reading, ask your child whether they would like to publish their final copy using technology or by writing on a piece of paper.
Encourage your child to ensure they include any changes or edits that were made last week during the revise/edit process in their final published piece. You could use the notes app on your phone or iPad to publish. Your child could also add some illustrations to match their writing and add their name as the author of the text at the end.
