School Savings Bonus + Parent Info
The School Saving Bonus provides a one-off $400 to help Victorian families cover the costs of their kids’ school uniforms, textbooks, excursions and activities.

Actions for parents and carers
To receive the School Saving Bonus, parents and carers of children who are attending a Victorian government school in 2025 are required to do the following by Friday 18 October 2024:
- Complete enrolment: If your child, or children are changing government school for Term 1 2025, or starting Prep or Year 7 in 2025, please complete enrolment.
- Check your contact information: Ensure your phone number and email address is up to date with your school.

Parent Occupation Collection Form
Please keep your eye out for an important Parent Occupation Collection Form being sent home to all families this week.
Our school funding is based on the completed education level and current occupation of our parents / guardians.
The lower the education level of our community, the higher our funding.
The higher the education level of our community, the lower our funding.
Your current occupation status also directly affects our funding.
The DET encourage schools to update records annually.
It is important the our records show the accurate level of parent education (education that is completed) and your current employment status.
The information you provide is confidential.
Please complete the form and return to the Office by Friday 13 September.
