Chess Club

Chess Club has started strong with more than 40 students attending at least one session so far. We have successfully begun a round robin tournament to add competitiveness. I strongly recommend anyone who plays chess or has never seen a pawn before to come down. Come learn and play for fun or get into some ranked play with the other students.

Crochet & Knitting Club

Crochet club is a really fun club that meets every Thursday lunchtime in the Art room. We play music and learn to crochet while we share our personal stories.

After we learn how to crochet well,  we are aiming to make scarves, beanies and plushies. When we get really skilled, we are planning to make some things - such as comfort teddies to donate to charity.

We also want to learn how to knit and to explore some other textile areas like weaving, tie dying and embroidery. 

Everybody is welcome to join us no matter what your skill level is.  All materials are provided so come along & have a yarn and make some new friends 😊while you learn a new skill.
