Perform Education

On the 23rd of August, Oatlands was visited by the wonderful Harley and Felicity from Perform Education. They performed a musical called ‘Maybe A Miracle’, which was based on this year's Book Week theme: Reading Is Magic! The performance was attended by our Preps and Grades 1 - 3 and was remarkably entertaining and very interactive, keeping even the teachers amused.

The musical explored this year’s short-listed books, including ‘The Concrete Garden’ by Bob Graham, ‘Country Town’ by Isolde Martyn and Robyn Ridgeway, ‘Every Night At Midnight’ by Peter Cheong and ‘Timeless’ by Kelly Canby.

As Harley and Felicity brought the main characters from each book to life, they had the audience standing, dancing and singing along to the songs. They had astonishing acting skills that shone through in this musical.
