Staffing

As many of you may know, Lauren Sortino will be on leave next week. We are happy to share that Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Whitfield will be stepping in to cover her responsibilities during this time. Both Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Whitfield are familiar with our school’s programs and have previously worked with our students, which should facilitate a smooth transition. Should you have any questions or need assistance for your child, please feel free to reach out to me.

Emergency Management

Our school is dedicated to fostering a safe environment for all students and staff. As part of our continuous commitment to emergency preparedness, we will be organising a series of drills and review sessions. These practices are essential in helping everyone understand their roles and responsibilities during an emergency. We would greatly appreciate your support in encouraging your children to take these drills seriously and in ensuring they are familiar with the procedures. We are delighted to collaborate with Bounce Readiness and Catholic Education Sandhurst to enhance our practices. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Caught Ya! Awards

We are delighted to continue our “Caught Ya” celebration lunches, where we recognise and celebrate the achievements of our students. Moving forward, we would like to celebrate one junior (F - 3) and one senior (4 - 6) student who have shown exceptional behaviour and accomplishments. We greatly appreciate the nominations we have received from both parents and students for this award. These lunches serve as a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and positive conduct of our students.

This week we celebrated a term of awards. Congratulations to our winners.

Parents & Friends at work

Our Parents & Friends group has been working diligently to support our school community. They have recently organised fundraising events, coordinated volunteers, and provided valuable input on school activities. If you would like to get involved or share any ideas, we warmly invite you to reach out to the P&F committee. Your participation and support are greatly appreciated and play an important role in making our school a vibrant and supportive place for everyone.

Elmore Field Days – A Call to Action

The Elmore Field Days are fast approaching, and we need your help to make this event a success. The funds raised will be instrumental in enhancing our outdoor areas, including the installation of new footy goals, gym mats, and digging equipment. Coming together as a community for this event not only supports our school financially but also fosters a strong sense of unity. We encourage all families to participate, volunteer, or simply come along to support our fundraising efforts.

A hard copy of the roster was sent home on Monday.

FORM is also available for you to use to volunteer your time.

We understand that this falls during the second week of the school holidays, and we would appreciate hearing from you if you are able to contribute even a small amount of time.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. I look forward to collaborating with you to further enhance our engaging and student-focused environment.

Warm regards,
