Here are a few great free Literacy resources families can use at home:

• ABC Education – videos and interactive learning activities.
• Storyline Online – actors reading popular children’s books aloud.
• Pobble 365 – daily writing prompts to inspire creativity.
• Oxford Owl – free eBooks and comprehension activities.

All Year 4 students have been learning to write persuasive texts, and this week they have had the opportunity to present a short speech in front of the class. Students have been using cue cards to help organise their ideas, keeping just a few key words on each to prompt their memory.
