Breakfast Club Shoutout!

Sunshine Heights Primary School run a School Breakfast Club before school which supports students to get the most out of their education by providing them with a healthy and nutritious meal.

As part of the School Breakfast Club program, we encourage a whole school approach to healthy eating with the aim to build an inclusive, supportive school community. As a School Breakfast Club Volunteer, you will be helping students focus better and participate fully in their education.

We are inviting parents to join our energic School Breakfast Club volunteer group in 2026, 

we are a friendly group with lots of enthusiasm and good vibes.

Volunteer roles available in 2026:

• Breakfast Club leader – inducts new volunteers - helps manage the ordering and runs the messenger group coordinating times and volunteers
• Breakfast club volunteering – one morning a week serving the students breakfast

What you need to know: Sunshine Heights Primary School proudly runs their School Breakfast Club 5 days a week with parent volunteers from 8:40am - 8:55am.

• Each volunteer runs the club one morning a week 8:30am-9:10am
• Assist with setting up and packing up the breakfast area, wash dishes and clean school kitchen 

·      Help serve breakfast to students

·      Provide valuable social interaction and connection with the other parents, students and staff

·      No specific experience is required however, a warm and friendly face

Other requirements of the role: Current Volunteer Working with Children Check (applied online, free for volunteers)
