2026 School Board Nominations

Applecross Senior High School is seeking nominations for Community Members to join the School Board for a three-year term, 2026-2028 inclusive. The Board plays a vital role in shaping the school's strategic direction, supporting excellence in teaching and learning, and strengthening connections between the school and the wider community. We welcome expressions of interest from individuals who bring diverse perspectives, skills, education expertise, and a genuine commitment to public education. This is an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success and future development of one of Western Australia’s leading public schools.

Now is the time to step up and nominate to become a Community Board Member.

The role of the Board is one of advisory and approval.  You need to be open-minded, solution-focused, and a team player.  The Board does not intervene in the school's control or management; rather, it partners with the school on its journey to deliver exceptional education.

Your commitment includes attending two Thursday night meetings each term from

5:30 pm — 7:00 pm, along with the opportunity to attend school and community events to represent the Board.

What you can bring to the table through work and life experience, as well as your connections to various industry and community groups, is always a value-add.
