Our annual school Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 28th November at Caringbah Leisure Centre for students in Years 2-5. This event is classified as a normal school day and all students are expected to attend. We look forward to parents attending or volunteering their assistance at this event. Please ensure that you have completed all the Compass event consent and registration forms for your child prior to the carnival.

Kindergarten and Year One students will also participate in fun and fitness activities on this day here at school, assisted by our Year Six students.

Student Leadership 2026

At Our Lady of Fatima, we are committed to nurturing leadership in every student. Throughout their schooling, students are encouraged to develop and demonstrate leadership qualities by collaborating with others, building teamwork skills, and actively contributing to the life of the school and parish. These experiences help foster personal growth and strengthen our school community.

This term, our Year 5 students are invited to reflect on what it means to be a leader and consider nominating themselves for the roles of School Captain, Vice Captain and Colour Sports Captain for 2026.

The nomination process will commence in Week 5, during which students and parents will be provided with further details and guidance about the steps involved.

During the 2026 school year, students will also have the opportunity to participate in one of the Year 6 leadership teams, further expanding their leadership journey.

Student leadership provides all of our Year 6 students the opportunity to live out our school motto:

“To Love and Serve under your Protection”.

BYOD Year 3 2026

Commencing in Term 1, 2026 Year 3 students are invited to take part in the “Bring Your Own Device Program”. Parents please note that the designated device is a Chromebook and not any other device. Other devices (not a Chromebook) do not support all of the educational websites we use.

Chromebooks assist us to move to more of a cloud-based computing platform and provide a 21st century learning environment. This promotes creative thinking, collaboration and communication among students.

Please see the link below for more information on the ‘Our Lady of Fatima BYODD Parent Portal.’

A BYOD information letter has been shared via Compass with Year 2 parents outlining Chromebook requirements.
