EALD

We understand that starting a new school in a new country can be challenging, so we offer the New Arrivals Program (NAP) to ensure a strong start for our newest students. This program provides intensive, specialist English language support to children who are in the very early stages of learning English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). Your child is typically eligible if they are a recent migrant, refugee, or returning Australian citizen who enrolled within the last 6 to 18 months and needs significant help with English. The New Arrivals Program covers specialised, small-group lessons with EAL/D teachers focused on foundational English skills (speaking, reading, writing), along with important support to help them understand school routines and confidently integrate into classroom learning.
