All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and their families are warmly invited to celebrate Mass with us on Sunday 7th December as part of our final 100 year celebrations. Please see the invitation for further details and to RSVP.

K Gold
Earlier this week, Kindergarten Gold students participated in a Storytelling lesson called ‘The Liturgical Books’ as part of their current unit ‘The Church’. Students listened and watched Mrs Saade as she told the story. Following the story, “I wonder” statements engaged the children with the story and invited reflection.
Here are some students responses to one of the statements -
I wonder how Jesus is with us...
“When he is in the Church with us” Elle
“He is in our hearts” Jordan
“When we pray” Vassilis
“When we go to the Church” Maryam
“Jesus is with us when we are doing good things” Brian
Students were then given the opportunity to explore the story through craft or drawing.

4 Gold
As part of their current Religion unit, ‘Mary, Mother of God’, 4 Gold explored how Mary responded to significant moments in her life, focusing on two key narratives from the Gospel of Luke. Working in pairs, students were assigned one of the two stories to analyse. They summarised the passage and described how Mary listened and responded to God. Next, each pair joined with another group who had studied the alternate story, engaging in a collaborative jigsaw activity to share insights and deepen their understanding through discussion.
