Spotlight on Learning

Dear Foundation Families, 

Next week we are celebrating Book Week! On Monday there is a book week parade where we can show off our costumes. Over the week, we will listen to different stories nominated by the Children's Book Council. 

Coming up soon is Father's Day. In Foundation, we celebrate all special people in our lives and look forward to celebrating with everyone. 

Over the next few weeks we are raising awareness for the fundraising for Natasha's garden, please see the flyer below.

Religious Education Focus

This week, we are beginning our focus on creation. Students will learn about the creation story from Genesis. 

English Focus

We are working on building words with 4 and 5 sounds, like splat or milk. 

Mathematics Focus

We are focusing on addition through number stories. 

Social and Emotional Learning

We will continue our learning about  bullying.  We will learn about what we do when someone is being bullied and how to be an upstander. 

Auslan Focus

Next week, we are learning general vocabulary like open, close, guitar and forgot.  

Upcoming events 

Reminders

No toys, stickers or pencil cases at school please. Students have everything they require for fun and learning supplied at school! If toys, stickers or other items are brought from home, teachers will remove the item and return it at the end of the day.

Please ensure you are packing your child brainfood each day!
