Wellbeing

It’s been a wonderful first three weeks settling into my new role as Wellbeing and Inclusion Leader. I’ve really enjoyed meeting so many students, staff and families and getting a feel for the vibrant and supportive culture here at Caulfield.
So far one of my key priorities has been working with teachers to better understand the social and emotional needs of our students so we can tailor wellbeing supports and programs accordingly. A big part of this is helping students build strong friendships, understand their emotions, and feel safe and included at school.
Next Wednesday, August 13th at 9:00 AM, we’ll be holding a Wellbeing Morning Tea in the Common Room, with a coffee van on-site from 7:45–9:00 AM. It’s a relaxed opportunity to connect with other parents and carers, meet me in person, and hear a few updates about what’s happening in the wellbeing space. We’d love to see you there—no RSVP needed!
Wellbeing tip of the week: Encourage your child to name one thing that made them smile today. Simple daily reflection can help build gratitude and emotional awareness.
