AFL Clinics

Year 8 PDHPE

This term, our Year 8 PDHPE classes are getting a hands-on experience with Australian Rules Football with a series of three workshops run by the AFL. We were fortunate to receive funding from the Sporting Schools program, which allows us to bring in expert AFL coaches to lead the sessions.

During these workshops, which take place during class time, students are learning the fundamental skills of the game through a variety of engaging drills and games. The clinics began last week and will continue until the end of the term.

So far, the students have been enjoying the chance to learn new skills and challenge themselves with a different type of sport. It's great to see their enthusiasm and teamwork on the field!
