Resource Centre

Book Week saw many of the new books on display in the Resource Centre being borrowed by students to enjoy reading. Graphic and verse novels, mystery and adventure titles, school stories, fantasy and science fiction as well as non-fiction books which included biographies, sport, fishing and war stories were all very popular.

It was great to see so many of the Year 12 students taking the opportunity to spend time at the Resource Centre studying for their HSC Trial Exams and also getting together before attending each of their exams.

Another shipment of new books has arrived at the Resource Centre, many of which have been processed and are now on display ready to be borrowed.

These include Jackie French’s Girls Who Changed the World series,

Ann Sei Lin’s debut trilogy Rebel Skies, Rebel Fire, Rebel Dawn, David Lawrence’s magical realism books,

Ruby and the Pen and Xander and the Pen,

Robbie Coburn’s verse novel, The Foal in the Wire,

and more titles in the Robert Muchamore, Robin Hood series. There are also more books by Pip Harry, Andy Griffiths, Phil Earle and Brooke Carter.

So many wonderful books to add to the existing collection across a wide range of genres for all year levels to read and enjoy.
