Principal's Message

Rachel Baker | Principal

Dear Parents,

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

This Sunday our Year 3 students will celebrate their First Holy Communion. This is a deeply meaningful sacrament in the Catholic Church marking the first time these children will receive the Eucharist.

The Eucharist is a central part of our Catholic faith with its origins in the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples. It is an act of thanksgiving and remembrance. The First Holy Communion sacrament will strengthen the students ties to the Church community and remind us that we are all united in Christ.

As a school we have had the privilege of witnessing these students and their families prepare for and make this sacrament. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and their growing understanding of the Catholic faith. Please join me in keeping them in your prayers this weekend as they take this momentous step in their spiritual lives.

SYDNEY EISTEDFODD

Congratulations to our talented showgroup teams for their incredible performances at the Sydney Eisteddfod on Sunday at the Sydney Opera House. I am so proud of the way the students represented St Aidan's and they absolutely shone on stage.

A special thank you to Miss Hinds and Miss Siapkas who have coached, coordinated and supported the showgroup students this year. The hours and effort that they have dedicated to the showgroup students and providing these wonderful opportunities for the students have been truly remarkable.

May this year be one of GOODNESS, TRUTH and BEAUTY.

Take care and God Bless.

Kind regards,
