Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,
Book Week Extravaganza
On Thursday, August 21st, Maramba Primary School celebrated Book Week with the exciting theme: Book an Adventure!
Throughout the week, each classroom took on a creative challenge to decorate their door to represent a beloved book.
Some of the fantastic books chosen across the school included:
All of the classroom doors looked absolutely brilliant, a true celebration of creativity and storytelling!

On Thursday morning, we held our special Book Week assembly. It was fabulous to see so many students and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters. The costumes were imaginative, colourful, and full of joy, a true tribute to the love of reading!

Father's Day Afternoon
We warmly invite Fathers, Grandfathers, Carers, and other special male or female role models to join us for a Father’s Day Afternoon Celebration.
When: Friday, September 5th
Time: 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm
Where: Maramba Primary School – on the oval
What: A friendly Staff & Guests vs. Students (Years 4/5/6) football match! All students in Years F–3, and students in Years 4–6 who do not wish to play, along with their special guests, will be invited to watch.
Students are encouraged to wear their footy colours on the day to show their team spirit.
We’ll also be offering a special lunch of a sausage in bread and Focus Water. These can be purchased through QKR.
We look forward to seeing you there for a fun-filled afternoon of sport, laughter, and community!

We are delighted to see families accepting offers for a place at Maramba in 2026. Please remember to check your emails and online applications to ensure you do not miss any pending offers. We look forward to working with families and kinders throughout this term and into Term 4, in order to prepare everyone for the transition to primary school life!
