100 Days of School

At last Friday’s assembly we celebrated 100 days of school for our Foundation students. The students arrived at assembly donning their 100 days crowns and there were some very grey and aged students in attendance. It is hard to believe that they have two (and almost a half) terms of experience as learners. As I have been touring prospective new families this year, I have been very proud of our students and how settled they are in their classrooms. I regularly receive feedback from tour groups about how happy and engaged our students appear. Check out our 100 school days old students below.

Girls Soccer Team

Next Thursday our girls soccer team will be representing our school at the regional final. They will be playing at the Darebin field in Thornbury, and we wish them all the very best on Thursday.

Book Week

We are excited to announce that our annual Book Day Parade will take place on Tuesday 19th August during Session 1. This event is always a highlight of the term and a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate their love of books, creativity and storytelling. Families are welcome to join us for the Parade. Students are encouraged to come dressed as a character from a book or book-inspired category. We kindly ask that all costumes are age-appropriate and suitable for the school environment, allowing students to participate safely and respectfully. A list of categories was emailed to families yesterday to help students prepare for the parade and to assist families with ideas for the day.

Hope you all enjoy some of the sun expected over the weekend!
