Welcome to Term 2

Term 1 has come and gone very quickly and with the short week 1, this eleven-week term will be well underway. Please make sure that if you ever have concerns about your child, please reach out to their Year Level Co-ordinators.

Uniform

As the weather begins to get colder, please make sure we are still wearing school uniform. Hoodies and black undershirts are not part of our uniform. If your student is struggling with uniform, can you please get in touch, and we will support. If your uniform is in the wash, can you please send your student with a note for a uniform pass.

Student timetables

Students will now have received their timetable for 2025. We have done our best to ensure that your student gets as many subjects of their choosing as possible, however at times may miss out on the first go and therefore some extensive work needs to be done. If this is the case, can you please contact your students YLC so we can aim to fix this up for an enjoyable 2025.

Year 7 Information night 

Thanks to the families who attended the Year 7 information night. It was a great night with the families to showcase what Horsham College has to offer. If you are wanting to complete a school tour, please get in touch with the front office and we can arrange.

Year 10 Work Experience

Week 4 sees our Year 10 students attend work experience for the week. This is a great opportunity for students to get firsthand experience on the job. If you have a student enrolled that have not locked in their workplace yet, please reach out to Genni Smith. 

Year 10 Study camp

Study camp is a chance for students to get an insight into universities, what they offer and what it is like to tour multiple campuses. This will be offered to those not currently in careers and will also be offered at the end of the year for those who miss out this time. Please reach out to the year level team if you want more information
