Black Ranges Intermediate Football

On Tuesday the 29th our intermediate AFLW team lead by Mr Hose, headed to Dudley Cornell park to take on Marian college in the only game for the day. In a brilliantly umpired game, the girls started quickly scoring the first two goals of the game. Some fantastic team-oriented play was seen, and all of the girls showed fantastic skill when the opportunity presented.

After a handy lead at quarter time the Marion Girls showed plenty of fight, matching the girls for intensity throughout the remainder of the game. The girls responded well to the challenge and gradually extended their lead until the final siren, coming away comfortable winners. The girls showed fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork all day and should be proud of their efforts.

The girls have now earnt the right to progress to the next level in Hamilton on the 20th of May.
