🏫 And just like that, we’re back for Term 2!

Welcome back! It’s been wonderful hearing about everyone’s holiday adventures.You might have noticed a few changes in the library layout: Lib3 has moved out of the corner, and we’ve moved the old Teacher Reference area. This newly created space will now be used as a small classroom and a new study zone for students.

Reading is a skill many of us learn early, but not everyone has the same opportunity to excel.It's never too late to dive into reading! Here at Horsham College Library, we support all reading levels — from picture books and our H.E.L.L. easy-read collection, to graphic novels and full-length novels for experienced readers.We also offer free digital access to eBooks and eAudiobooks through ePlatform!

🎲 Creeker’s at the Library

We’re excited to welcome the Creekers back for Term 2!Wednesdays are always filled with laughter and competition when the Creekers visit. The library staff love the lively spirit and competitive games they bring each week.

 

💻 Laptops in the Library During Recess and Lunchtimes

A big thank you to all the responsible laptop users visiting the library during breaks!Just a reminder: think about your laptop battery usage — will your laptop last the full school day if you’re gaming during recess and lunch? If not, consider saving your battery during breaks so it’s ready for your classes.

 🐐 Meet tiny goats at the Horsham Library 🐐

The goats will be available ALL day for meeting, patting and reading to!

👩‍👩‍👧‍👦Mother’s Day: We’ll be having goats the day before Mother’s Day! A great chance to get your Mum and parents involved!

🎓 Advanced reading: Studies show that reading aloud to animals boost reading confidence and skills!

🗓️ Date & Time: From 9.30am – 1pm on Saturday, May 10.
