Family Faith Night for our Eucharist Families

Please join us next Wednesday 21st May at 7pm in Penola.

 

The Eucharist is central to our Catholic identity, described as the "source and summit of the Christian life" . It is through the Eucharist that we participate in the ongoing mission of Christ, proclaiming His death and Resurrection until He comes again. 

 

This family faith evening will include engaging activities, discussions, and reflections designed to help us appreciate the Eucharist's role in our faith journey and daily lives.

 

We look forward to sharing this meaningful experience with you and your family

 

Celebration information: Photograhy

Please find below some important information regarding about our Photography for the celebration:

  • Professional photographs will be taken by Bekker Photography.
  • You wwould have recieved an order form envelope to fill out prior to the day. You must bring this envelope with you and give it to the photographer on the day of the celebration.
  • Students who would like solo or family photographs are asked to meet the photographers in the Boulevard building, entering via the Farmhouse boulevard pedestrian gates.
  • All candidates are asked to be present for the group photograph, 30 minutes prior to the start of the service.

Photography times for 12pm Mass:

  • Individual/family photos will be taken from 10:00am until 11:30am
  • ALL candidates must return for group photo at 11:30am

Photography times for 2pm Mass:

  • Individual photos will be taken from 12:00pm until 1:30pm
  • ALL candidates must return for a group photo at 1.30pm

Celebrating our Mother Mary - during the Month of May

During May, we celebrate the Month of Mary, the mother of the Lord. We are called to

reflect on one of the last gifts the Lord gave to us, the gift of a mother. And, not just any mother, but His own Mother, Mary. 

 

Mary possessed many qualities, including trust, perseverance, humbleness and above all, LOVE. These qualities can be witnessed in our own mothers and those who are like mothers to us – grandmothers, aunties, sisters, teachers and friends.Through the love, care and protection they show for us, we understand more of what God is like. 

 

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."
