Riding for the Disabled

One of the service activities our students are offered is Riding for the Disabled (RDA). Our students are trained in how to lead the horses and how to be a side walker, who looks after the child on the horse.

It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to step out of their comfort zone and to help other students in our local Orange community.

The staff and volunteers always report to me how kind and patient our students are, and how well they are able to build a connection with the horses and students who are riding.

I am so proud of our students who attend and put themselves forward for these opportunities. If you are interested to find out more about the program please speak to Rev. Sally or Mr Callaghan
