Open Girls Soccer

The Open Girls Soccer Team travelled to Griffith on Friday to play Wade High School for a place in the next round of the Regional Schools knockout. The girls started well and were quickly 1-0 up after a poacher's goal from Sienna Lyons. The girls thought they had gone 2-0 up before the goal was ruled out for a questionable offside. Wade pulled a goal back shortly before half time and the teams were level at the break.

Halftime came with a buildup of lactic acid and blisters from the Cross Country the day before. The girls ran courageously until their legs couldn't move anymore and were ultimately defeated 3-1. Congratulations to Wade HS and all the best in the next round.

The girls were a pleasure to coach and represented the school impeccably.
