News From Bexley!

Woof Woof Everyone!

I am now getting back into my working routine. We started off with a morning party. This is where I get to spend time with the staff connecting by playing games and having a cuddle. This is a great way to start the day before work – I sure do love cuddles!

I’ve been on before school duty with Mrs Corfield. Observing the staff, students & parents entering the school and demonstrating our 3 expectations and classroom walkthroughs. Then spending time with students walking in the garden, playing with some of my toys and getting some exercise.

Playtime and rest time with Mrs Freshwater, Mrs Fletcher and Mrs Patkin in the Library and Office.

Last week I got to spend time in nature at the community garden working bee and with Mrs Leyonhjelm on after school duty.

My Goodness – what a busy wonderful day. I was good to get home and put my paws up!

We are continuing to learn about my personal/safe spaces. I go to these spaces when I need to:

  • Rest/Nap
  • Take a break
  • Feel Calm

When I am in these spaces please:

  • Do not interact with me or pat me
  • Keep moving
  • Talk quietly

You will see some poster on the doors letting you know I am in there taking a break and have added them below so you know what they look like - so keep your eyes out!

I am really looking forward to spending more time with everyone and getting lots of pats!
